Male Man

Part 1- Loverman
My friends band, Loverman launched their mini album on Monday with the help of the Young and Lost club babelicious honeys. They are incredible= They thanked their Mums, made handmade tshirts (the guitarist is wearing one) and make music to get truly excited about.
Buy their limited edition mini album, 'Human Nurture' at youngandlostclub.com

If you need anymore convincing beyond pictures of Gabe and Jon and my very expert music review then watch this.

Or go and see them on 7th October at Pure Groove where they are performing an instore gig for your pleasure.

Part 2- Male Bonding
I moshed (honestly) at a Male Bonding gig last month at The Stags Head. Katie and I were getting well stuck in whilst good(shoes) ole Rhys Jones looked on laughing and taking photos. Can't wait for those to emerge because they WILL be flattering.

Finndaloo

My baby brother is 4 yrs old and started school last thursday. He is the only kid in reception that wears a tie. Precious. He also thinks his full name is Finndaloo!

This big day coincided with me getting some old film developed and I had to fight away the tears when I discovered these photos :'(

The GC

I made 50 of these monster heads on a job assisting Gary.

We lobbed these along with a ton of balls and bean bag monsters at two boys jumping onto crash mats. Quite a complicated scene to orchestrate so a lot of takes and a lot of running around after balls. Truly evil, I hate doing anything remotely related to ~sport~. There was beer though.

guilty pleasure no.1142

honk honk

I was beeped and hollered at THREE times in he space of about 20 meters today just popping down the road to pick up Grazia. I didn't have my dress tucked into my pants nor did my skirt fly above my head, so I'm at a bit of a loss as to what came over the usually very courteous and demure van driver.

I dunno.

Anyway I picked up Grazia because my m8 Verity Pemberton had one of her graduate designs in the mag as look of the week. She provided Florence Welch with this number for Leeds festival. Very proud.

YES WE CAN!

My mate Ferry 'F-Bomb' Gouw has been nominated for an MTV VMA!!!!!!! He is in the Breakthrough Video category for his direction/animation/illustration of Major Lazer's 'Hold the Line' vid.

Watch the video and please vote for him, its seriously brilliant and clearly head and shoulders above the other lazy and stale offerings in the category.

Go here-----> http://www.mtv.com/ontv/vma/2009/breakthrough-video/

or Click on YES WE CAN to vote.
